Né le 20 Avril 1941, à Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban, France

Vit et travaille à New York

 

FORMATION

1958 Étudie pendant un an à l'École Municipale d'Art de la ville de Nice, la Villa Thiole

1967 Développe son œuvre conceptuelle et fréquente des scientifiques de Columbia University.Rencontre la plupart des artistes de l'Art Minimal à la Dwan Gallery

1971 Arrêt de son activité artistique.Rétrospective au New York Cultural Center (New York, USA) avec publication du catalogue raisonné de son œuvre conceptuelle.

1978 Participe à l'exposition "From Nature to Art. From Art to Nature" à la Biennale de Venise, Italie.

1997 S'installe dans un nouveau studio à Chelsea, New York.Travaille sur une nouvelle série de sculptures d'Arcs intitulée "4 Arcs" et "5 Arcs".

Est nommé membre de l'Académie Européenne des Sciences et des Arts de Salzbourg, Autriche.

2005 Est fait Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur.

2007 Inauguration par le Président de la République Jacques Chirac du plafond de la galerie du Palais Cambon
